On her down-to-earth personality: “It’s important to be relatable and normal. And I think that what helps with that, for me, is that I had the rug pulled out from underneath my feet so many times. It was like, ‘Listen up, bitch, you’re not going to get served this on a silver platter—you’ve got to work for it!’ I don’t feel like I can act like an entitled bitch yet! I still have so much to prove.”

What to Wear to Music Festivals
In today’s Zoe Report, a reader asks RZ to weigh in on what to wear to music festivals (namely, Coachella). I’ve never been to Coachella (though have been to Indio, CA during that time of year to know how hot it gets!) but have attended Lollapalooza the past several years, so I found this list spot on for the most part! It’s always a difficult balance because you want to try to look semi-nice, but at the same time you are sitting outside in 90+ degree heat in the sun from morning until evening (rain or shine)…so, added to RZ’s list I’ve added my finds as well as a couple tips/thoughts!
1) Denim shorts (Free People, Victoria’s Secret)2) On-trend top (with the reminder that you might want to consider the temperature of the day & tanline when selecting your top). (Blu Moon, Forever21, Topshop, C&C California, Olive & Oak)3) Desert dress. She recommends a psychadelic print or a caftan. Note from me—I recommend that it be washable. And, as cute as the caftan dresses are, the sleeves might make you more hot and will definitely create a funny tan line. Here are some I found: Gypsy05, Delia’s, Luc by Lucy, Allsaints, Style Stalker (above).4) Functional footwear (my go-to/favorites are Old Navy’s super cheap colorful flip flops)5) Cross-body bag (Topshop, Asos, Topshop, Kohls)6) Floppy hat — I’d definitely recommend a hat, but not necessarily a floppy one…so I’d opt for a straw fedora type from Target or H&M or: Old Navy, Asos, Forever217) Sunglasses - I usually leave my nice ones at home and instead use my aviators from Target or my fake wayfarers from BP at Nordstrom. Some cute/cheap options: LC Lauren Conrad, Topshop, Asos8) Extra essentials: sunscreen, hand sanitizer, a camera, an umbrella, something to sit on (beach towel, tarp, etc)
